There’s probably no sense of failure greater than getting caught and eaten by zombies. I’m training for a 5k on July 4th, and I usually get so bored when I run, but I love this new app.
It’s a super-engaging story line with 30-minute or 1-hour missions that will mix in your running playlist music, and you can even turn on Zombie Chases for sprint intervals. Even though your neighbors might be wondering why you’re booking it through the suburban streets with a look of fear on your face at ten in the morning. I’ve definitely jumped once or twice when somebody walked past me because I was too engrossed and a bit spooked out by the story.
It also tracks your mileage and your time, and you can collect supplies as you go to help build the base for the survivors from the zombies. I’ve always said that if I didn’t get into shape, I’d never be able to survive when the zombies come one day.
